This simple color-your-own printable wheel craft is a great way to teach the Lord’s Prayer for kids of all ages.
Earlier this month, to help the elementary-aged kids in our children’s church remember the Lord’s Prayer, I designed a simple wheel craft. Most kids don’t know the Lord’s Prayer or are unable to recite parts of it from memory.
Hopefully, this craft will help with that.
Materials Needed To Make The Lord’s Prayer For Kids Wheel Craft:
- The free Lord’s Prayer craft printable template
- A pair of scissors
- White card stock
- Brads
- Colors (crayons, markers or color pencils)
How to Make the Lord’s Prayer Children’s Craft
- Print the free printable craft template from my Free Printables Library, using white card stock. Accessing this is easy. All you need to do is enter your email address to receive my free e-newsletter and you will be sent the password to access the library with all my free printables!
- Carefully cut around the circle outlines on both pages and the additional triangle on the top circle.
- Now that you have your upper and lower circles of the wheel craft cut, carefully align the circles to ensure they sit on top of each other, with the central dot on the top of the circle, aligning with the central point of the lower circle.
- Once done, insert the brad in to hold the two circles together. (If you find it hard to do this using the brad alone, use the tip of a paper cutter, a pencil, or a pen, to make the hole.)
- Your Lord’s Prayer wheel craft is ready to be colored!
