This easy Abram and Lot craft printable for kids has been inspired by the story in Genesis 13. This craft reminds kids of when Abram and Lot separate.
When Abram, his wife Sarai, and nephew Lot left Eygpt, they were both very rich and had an abundance of livestock and possessions. There eventually came a time when the quareling between Abram’s hersdmen and Lot’s became too much. Abram, hence asked Lot to take his herdsmen, flocks, and possessions and separate from him.
When you read Genesis 13, you will read that Lot chooses the land that visually looked the best, the well-watered land. While Abram, chooses the remaining land.
In what seemed like an unfair deal for Abram at the time, was made good when God speaks to him with a promise. (Read Genesis 13:14-17)
This craft reminds kids who have read the story, that God remains Faithful and we can trust His Word.
