This free printable Joshua and the Battle of Jericho craft will remind children of Joshua 6 and features God’s Promise from Joshua 1:9.
If you’re looking for a craft that encapsulates Joshua chapter 1 through Joshua chapter 6, then this is that craft.
Kids will color the 7 priests with their trumpets of rams’ horns and Joshua standing outside the walls of Jericho,
before they come tumbling down.
Looking carefully, you will see a cord fluttering out of a window.
Yes, that reminds children of the portion in the story when the two men sent by Joshua promised Rahab, the harlot, that they would ensure no harm came to her and her household when the Israelites came through again. (Read Joshua chapter 2)
The craft also features the word God gave Joshua as he prepared to lead the children of Israel-
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
What a wonderful Bible verse this is to memorize as a family.
