Light of the World is Salvation Poem Project’s Christian family movie, which is already a hit at the box office, for all ages. This 2d animated story tells the life story of Jesus through the eyes of young apostle John.

I personally felt this movie has a wonderful way of using the art of storytelling and sweet animated characters to bring a wholesome walk through different times in Jesus’ life and crucifixion.

Sweet John’s curiosity, courage, and humor gave the film heart.

An ordinary boy. An extraordinary faith!

The movie uses enough creative liberty and humor in each Bible story to keep kids of all ages engaged.

Portions during the heavier and sadder parts of Jesus’ story were gently handled, clearly keeping in mind the young viewer.

Oh, and keep your ears open to grab hold of some great quotes from start to finish.

Some of my favorites include-

“There’s nothing so broken that God can’t fix.”

“The Messiah will change everything.”

“Sometimes the right path isn’t the easiest path.”

“God rarely shows up in the way you think He will”

Light of the World Craft

To make this craft, you will need:

The free Light of the World craft printable template
White multi-purpose/computer paper
A pair of scissors
Gluesticks
Tape
Colors (crayons, markers, or color pencils)

Start by having your child color in Jesus and the Earth.

Then, carefully cut around the globe and roll the tape

to hold onto the Earth and attach it to the center of Jesus, to look like it’s being held,

or to the side.

Your choice!

Such a simple yet wonderful way to remind ourselves that Jesus is the Light of the World!
