Things New Moms Need for Themselves: Best New Mom Gifts

When you have a friend or family member expecting a baby, it’s only natural to want to help them in any way that you can.

Here are a few ways you can help support a new mom- by blessing them with things new moms need for themselves.

Make a Care Package for the New Mom

When the baby comes, there’s a good chance she’s not going to take care of herself as much as she did.

It’s hard to adjust to life with a new baby, and new moms often push self-care to the bottom of their priorities.

Something you can do for her is to encourage self-care.

Make a care package with all of her favorite things, such as a devotional, these uplifting coloring pages

Uplifting Bible Verses

encouragement cards for a tired mom,

a book from her favorite author, face masks, bath bombs, hair masks, and lotions.

Add several snacks she can munch on when she has those early morning feeds.

Having a snack box handy with packs of nuts, pretzels etc. to place by the nursing station is great.

That way she can grab and eat while she feeds and bonds with baby.

Or make her a batch of these no-bake peanut butter protein balls.

Give her the Gift of Your Time

You can do this in several ways. Check out a few ideas here.
