Who doesn’t love I Spy printables, so naturally, I couldn’t resist creating a fun I Spy Valentine worksheet that kids could pass out with a Valentine I Spy card at school, or to friends in the neighborhood.

If you’re a teacher and looking for classroom ideas, or a homeschool mama looking for a great quiet-time activity that is Valentine-themed, these Valentine I Spy worksheets rank right there on top, along with these Color Your Own Valentine cards.

Both tick off several musts on your list, I promise:

  • An engaging activity that continues to encourage focus, concentration, and creativity
  • Strengthens fine motor skills
  • Is kid-approved. Yes, fun!

Fun I Spy Valentine Worksheet

A Color and Count I Spy Valentine Worksheet AND a Valentine I Spy Card to exchange

I’ve had fun designing the Thanksgiving I Spy worksheet and the Christmas I Spy printables.

(Both the Count and Find Christmas I Spy and the I Spy A Nativity Worksheets)

While designing this I Spy Valentine worksheet I thought it would be fun to create an accompanying Valentine I Spy Card for kids to pass out to friends.

Valentine I Spy Card for Kids

The Valentine I Spy card features 6 adorable animals holding hearts- a tiger, a lion, an elephant, a monkey, a zebra and a giraffe.

The recipient of the card has to count how many of each animal he/she sees and record that number in the box.

Each colorful Valentine’s Day card includes a “Happy Valentine’s Day” message and a space for your child to write/sign his/her name.

These I Spy Valentines may be passed out with the Color and Find Valentine I Spy worksheet.

This worksheet includes 8 sweet elements waiting to be counted and colored.

Valentine I Spy Worksheet

This Valentine activity will take some time as the features on each element are detailed and allow for a child to get creative while coloring.

Remember, your child may choose to color each element a certain color, or color combination,

there are no rules or instructions on how this worksheet may be colored.

To help save you a little time (you’re welcome!), I’ve included a key in the printable file, for your reference.

As always, I recommend using white multi-purpose paper for the I Spy counting worksheet and white card stock for the I Spy Valentine cards.
