Everyone has an egg dip recipe they’ve tried and liked, but till you try this easy Peppered Egg Mayo Dip recipe, your palate is missing out!
My family loves a good, wholesome snack and nothing beats my Peppered Egg Mayo Dip.
This is one of those chunky, packed-with-flavor kinds of dips that pairs beautifully with regular or toasted pita triangles, pita chips, whole grain crackers, or even bagel chips.
The dip is a spin-off from my egg salad sandwiches that are a staple at our high tea celebrations.
(I promise these aren’t as fancy as it sounds. My family loves mini bites and the treats served at a high tea, so we’re quick to throw a “high tea celebration” without the need for a momentous occasion!)
Ingredients required to make this Peppered Egg Mayo Dip

Any tips on boiling eggs?
Boiling eggs can be overwhelming for some, and believe me; you aren’t alone on this. This quick guide on how to boil eggs is very helpful.
I like to boil my eggs for about 10 minutes once the water in the pan has begun to boil and bubble.
What is the easiest way to get remove the eggshell off a hard-boiled egg?
I like adding a teaspoon of baking soda to the water while boiling the eggs. Once the eggs finish boiling, I drain out the water and then shock them by pouring cold water into the pan.
I then peel the shells while the egg remains in the water. This has been the most effective way to peel off those shells easily.
I’m not a fan of chunky dips. Can I put this through a processor or blender to make it creamy?
You sure can. This won’t change the flavors, but I personally feel the texture is what alleviates this dip to its deliciousness potential!
Can I use cream cheese instead of mayonnaise?
You may, but remember this will change the flavoring and make the dip taste a little more “cheesy”!
Should I serve the dip at room temperature or chilled?
My family likes the dip after it has been in the refrigerator for at least an hour. This really just depends on personal preferences.
