Still a Miracle Working God! (God Whispers-31)

At times when God speaks, it’s a still small voice…sometimes even a whisper. And it’s at times like these that He invites us to be still and know that He is God (Psalms 46:10).

Still a Miracle Working God! ( Day 31)

 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

(Mark 10:27)

As this 31 day series comes to a close, I’m reminded of how the passage of time has rolled by over the years and how so much has changed but one thing remains the same…

God is STILL in the miracle working business.

 

Sometime last year a friend was diagnosed to have a growing malignant tumor in his brain. Doctors rushed him in for surgery and removed whatever malignancy they could. To combat further growth he was ordered to undergo intense chemotherapy and a phase of radiation.

Months passed and he completed the required treatment cycles with severe side effects but he grinned and bore it all, hoping that the end result would be a clear report.

 

The husband and wife returned to their specialist for their follow-up checkup and the routine tests were run. The two waited with eager anticipation to hear that the tumor had shrunk to zilch but that was not to be the case. Their shocked doctor told them in utter disbelief that the tumor had gone on a rampant growth spurt and had blown up to three times its original size. Medically nothing more could be done and to put it bluntly, he sent this young father home to die!

 

The couple was shattered but held onto this strength that God IS able and that NOTHING is too hard for Him.

 

Friends, family and the church united in fervent prayer, seeking for God to intervene and radically change things around. There was nothing left for man to do. This man needed a miracle…

and a miracle is what he got.

 

Three months after he was given his devastating death report, he returned to the specialist and asked to have tests run on him. The doctor hesitantly agreed. The reports left this medical professional flabbergasted!

Minus any medication, minus any researched treatment, minus any human intervention, the tumor had shrunk to a pea size. God was doing a work in this man.

Today close to a year since his first report, he now stands 100% cancer free!

 

This story is not a stand alone story. I personally know more than just a handful of people who’ve been touched by God’s Miracle Working Hand.

Miracles DO happen!

 

When your situation looks like its dead and pathetically hopeless, don’t get discouraged.

Our God is a God of Resurrection. He CAN turn things around for you.

Put your hope in God.

NOTHING…absolutely nothing is impossible for Him!
