In case you missed it, here are a few posts you will want to read, along the same lines…
– Social Media 101…Wisdom from the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration 2013 {Part 1}
.
I will share points from each session that hit home with me and sincerely hope the “gems” will help sharpen your online presence in a great way!
Wise words from Jackie Huba…
{Voice behind Jackie Huba}
- Focus on your one-percenters. That small, defined set of loyal followers who support your online presence.
- Lead with values.
- Build a community.
- Generate something to talk about. Be buzz-worthy!
- Give fans a name. Make them feel like rock stars!
Wise words from Dayna Steele…
{Voice behind Your Daily Success Tip}
.
- Believe in your gifts, your dreams…you! Be passionate…and find those people who love what you do.
- Find a connection with your readers. Use “you”, not “I” or “them” when addressing a post/article. Everything you write should be written as if you’re writing to your best friend. Be personal!
- Take advantage of every opportunity you have to grow your network. Form relationships. You never know where a relationship will take you.
- Never stop learning. Do you research and read! Learn something about anything you have never read or heard of before.
- Do things for other people. Share information without expecting anything in return.
- Show appreciation. Never forget to say thank you!
- Wow the customer/reader. Be better than anyone else. Don’t just be good enough. Do a little more. Do whatever it takes to make an impression.
