As a Mom I confess there are a few things I am guilty of.

1. I sneak veggies into my kids food. Yes I admit I even hide spinach in their brownies!

2.  I play “fun”  games that secretly teach them new skills!

3.  Pretend play is huge in our home. It helps get a few chopping chores done in the kitchen too! (Wink!!)

4. I disguise things around our home that aren’t exactly eye candy with kids’ crafts or themed art!

5. I have cheated on dessert once or twice…erm, okay maybe more than once or twice. But then honestly, how does one ignore a frozen chocolate chip pie calling out your name from the frozen food aisle?

When I saw this video I secretly giggled…

I am not alone!

But despite my sneaky Mom side, I know with all my heart that I’m a Mommy beyond compare in my kids’ eyes…

and that’s all that matters!

So tell me…

do you have a guilty Mama confession?

  1. I hide books and games that I am tired of reading and playing. He has so many that he rarely notices!

  2. love the decorated refrig!! such a cool idea–I’m sure of guilty of things too–like knowing exactly where theyleft their hair brush and they want to know where it is after I’ve asked them to put their things away!!

  3. I hide things in my kids food too but he sniffs it out then doesn’t touch it… My boy is a bloodhound I swear sometimes…

  4. I hide veggies in food, too. Usually in smoothies. They suck them down and have no clue. 🙂

  5. Great post and great ideas! My confession is…..I teach my older son to do things that I’d rather not do, like take the compost to the compost pile or push my 2 year old on the swing. Oops! 🙂

  6. Oh, you are sneaky:-) I have a special cupboard I hide food in when I don’t want everyone to scarf it down.

  7. I love the fridge! I have a secret cupboard as well that I hide the “goodies” in that I don’t want to share. I guess I can’t really call it secret because everyone in the house knows about it but they know hands off.
