Maryland Science Center

The motto of the Maryland Science Center is “Let’s Science.” Located in Baltimore and open Tuesday through Sunday, it’s a great place for kids of all ages to learn about many different aspects of science.  The highlight during the holidays is the Sweet Street exhibit that will remain open till January 5, 2020? What exactly is this?

It’s a unique, handcrafted Maryland-themed gingerbread village, complete with all the popular landmarks.

National Aquarium

The National Aquarium is home to an amazing number of animals… more than 20,000, in fact. Family-friendly exhibits include the Australian Outback, a tropical rain forest, 4-D underwater films, the Living Seashore and more. You can even take a behind the scenes tour to discover what life is really like at the aquarium. Before you visit, check out the live cams via the website. Oh, and if you know your kids will get a kick out of seeing a diving Santa, visit on these dates:

Thursday, December 19 at 1 pm

Monday, December 23 at 1 pm

Tuesday, December 24 at 1 pm

Dives on all three dates will occur promptly at 1 pm and will last approximately 30 minutes.

He will be making his watery appearance at the Atlantic Coral Reef exhibit.

B&O Railroad Museum

Join the holiday festivities at the B&O Railroad Museum, now through January 2. Get ready for special holiday train rides, the Magical Holiday Express’ cool train layouts and even some surprise fun along the way. Do note, the museum will be open on New Year’s Eve.
