How to find the best hairstyle for that Christmas gathering

It is so hard to believe Christmas is almost here! With a number of Christmas gatherings planned, the days ahead could get pretty busy.

It also means cold weather in a lot of areas and that can really dry out your hair. Dried out hair is not only unhealthy but also unattractive. It is a brittle, frizzy mess.

The quiz is just a recommendation, you can use it as a starting point for your style. My daughter has a combination of straight hair and slightly wavy hair, so we weren’t sure what the recommendations would be.
She took the quiz and got the big bouncy curls.
We took the curls recommendation and did elegant curls that are easy to achieve with these simple steps:
- Wash and condition your hair with TRESemmé® Botanique Nourish & Replenish.
- Blow dry your hair and brush it out.
- Divide your hair into 3 section. Sections 1 and 2 will go on the side, section 3 will hang down your back.
- Spritz your hair with TRESemmé® TWO Extra Hold Hair Spray
- Curl that back part first. We used a ⅝ inch barrel curling iron but you can use any size you want. We worked in small sections.
- Clip your back piece out of the way and start on one of your side pieces. When you have it completely curled, clip it back up loosely.
- Do the same for the other side.
- Let the curls sit for about 5 minutes and then comb them out gently with your fingers.
- Spritz with some more hairspray.
- Lift your sides up into a ponytail but leave your back piece hanging down. I always twist the ponytail once to give you a little lift.
- Secure with a pretty holiday barrette.
