A Gratitude Gift that doesn’t cost a lot

As we traditionally celebrate a month of giving thanks, it’s important for us, as parents, to remind our kids to thank those people in our community who work at pretty thankless jobs…

the mailman, our courier personnel, the garbage collector and even that lady at Walmart who always has a smile on her face irrespective of the time, day or season.

Though it may not be the norm in most places, consider encouraging your family to bless on one or more of these dedicated people in your lives this month.

Yes, this month.

Sure you may give them something nice when Christmas rolls in but this additional yet affordable gift idea will touch their hearts.

A Gratitude Gift that doesn’t cost a lot

I generally stalk our Dollar Tree each month when new inventory comes through. This month my store had beautiful coffee mugs out. With the weather getting nippier, who wouldn’t want a steaming cup of hot cocoa or a wake-me-up coffee boost on a long day?

I thought it would be a good idea to put together a “Thanks A Latte” Gratitude Gift for our UPS courier guy. He’s one of the sweetest people around and always has a big smile on his face even though he’s dog tired.

For this extremely affordable gift idea, all you need is

Gratitude Gifts

A coffee mug

A pack of yummy chocolates.

A cellophane roll

A roll of curling/gift ribbon

A pack of blank cards

And a Starbucks gift card. (Now it’s totally up to you how much you want to put on it. Since this isn’t like a Christmas gift, a $10 gift card would be perfect. You could do $5, $15, anything!)

Thanks a Latte Gift

I picked up everything but the Starbucks gift card for a mere dollar each, at Dollar Tree.

In the card I wrote a small note to our UPS guy and to tie in the coffee themed gift idea, the words…

Thanks a “latte” for all you do.

I also got my 4 year old to draw inside the card to make it all the more special.

Thanks a Latte Gift

I love that this is so easy to put together and though simple, conveys love, gratitude and warmth.

Gratitude Gift

Who would you give a “Thanks A Latte” gift to?
