I love opening up our home for guests during the holidays.

I don’t love the work that goes into prepping for that time or the cleaning up that’s required after, though!Prepping the guest bathroom for the holidays

Since we live in an older home, our bathrooms come fitted with the bare essentials. And no, we don’t intend on doing a major overhaul but tiny, affordable upgrades are definitely on the cards.

Since our guest bathroom will be the place frequented the most when we have visitors, I try to keep it looking fresh and clean at all times. (We all know how young visitors always, always need to use the bathroom when they visit a friend’s house, right?)

A few months ago we got our old, basic shower-head replaced with a much nicer, 5 function, jet spray featured one. Two weeks ago the sink counter-top got a much needed overhaul. Thankfully this didn’t cost very much which means we have an extra buffer set aside to work on getting some much needed bathroom faucets!

But I’m torn on what to choose…

practical, affordable and simple or pricey and classy.

  1. We actually just replaced the faucet in one of our bathrooms. We got a plain, simple one :O)

  2. Love this, Got to do ours soon. I need to find the plug in to make the bathrooms smell fresh and pretty!

  3. There are so many faucets to choose from! Our guest bathroom probably gets cleaned the most b/c it sees the most traffic!

  4. a new faucet and a new mirror will do wonders for a dated bathroom. Ours are original to the house and eh but as long as its clean I don’t care.

  5. We have to replace our faucets in our bathroom. It is SO hard to settle on the right one. That said…I have to make a decision!
