At times when God speaks, it’s a still small voice…sometimes even a whisper. And it’s at times like these that He invites us to be still and know that He is God (Psalms 46:10).

Join me as I share with you God Whispers that have that sustained, strengthened and encouraged me on my journey to be the Mommy and Wife God wants me to be.

.

Be Still and Know.

My husband always says I have a hard time sitting still. Even if everything has been done around our home, I’ll find something new to do.

Being still doesn’t come easy to me.

And when it comes to needs I’ve been lifting up to the LORD, it’s particularly hard especially when it involves loved ones.

Do you feel that way at times?

You’ve been praying and praying for a breakthrough, perhaps in your life or that of your loved one…but it seems like it’s taking forever to happen?

Be still and know I am God (Psalms 46-10)

I know in the waiting God has been teaching my husband and I something.

He has been teaching us to know Him better.

He has been reminding us of …

the storms He has brought us through,

the way He has opened doors for us,

our beginnings and where we are today,

His Faithfulness through it all.

Sometimes we need to be still to allow God to orchestrate things beautifully in other people’s lives and in situations before our prayer is answered.

And in the process as we wait, we’re learning more about…

His Love for us

His Grace over our lives and

His Heart for everything concerning our loved ones.

In His Time, our prayers will come into fruition.

If you are going through a season of “waiting” in your life too, I pray you will be encouraged in this, that He has it all under control.

Keep trusting.

Don’t give up hope.

Root your heart in His Word and know that the God in whom you trust is a prayer answering God.

Choose to believe His Word, His Promises, His Report.

Miracles still flow out of Heaven’s gates, so don’t underestimate the Power of His Word.

The answer to your prayer is coming.

May you remain encouraged in Him. Be blessed!

  1. Oh goodness…the waiting is so the hardest part. Sometimes, I just want a “no” so I know there is an answer.

The stillness is so hard, but I know that’s all part of His plan.
