Give Christmas Away disclaimer

This is my third year working with Wonder Forge and honestly, it’s always my honor to stand behind this wonderful brand. Their heart to bring learning and fun into living rooms and their heart for children as a whole makes it easy to support them.

As with the past 2 years, their generosity has been great with the Giving Christmas Away event and I know their donation of game sets to the Children’s Home will be greatly appreciated.

Wonder Forge games bring learning and fun together

Recently added to their collection of fun games for kids are a set of Disney Planes, Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins and Jake & the Neverland Pirates games.

We have played three games of the lot and have ranked these in order of my kids’ votes for the same…

Wonder Forge games

1. Disney Planes Matching Game

Matching games have a place of prominence in my house as they allow my youngest to play along with big sis, Mom and Dad…and not feel intimidated that the game’s too overwhelming to understand or play. We’ve always encouraged memory games as we’ve seen how much they’ve helped sharpen recollection and memory skills in all four of us!

MSRP: 9.99 US$

This game is a favorite with my little man especially since he loves Dusty and El Chu.

If you are playing this with a younger player, I would recommend starting off with a pile of say 8-10 pairs

and then slowly building up the number of pairs in the game to ensure it’s an achievable goal for him/her.

2. Doc McStuffins: All Better Game

If your kids love imaginative play then this game will be fun, fun, fun!

MSRP: 24.99 US$
MSRP: 24.99 US$

The “All Better” game comes equipped with slap on band-aids, foam medical instruments, a Doctor’s bag, a spinner and scoring Doc McStuffins cards.

To play, the players need to rely on their memory to recollect which boo-boos lie hidden under the slap on band-aids and use the appropriate medical instrument to “treat” the same.

If your kids are like mine, you can be assured that there will be a lot of imaginative play that gets thrown in for good measure!

(My little man has the Doctor’s bag placed strategically in the living room to use on a daily basis…to “treat” bumps, scratches and  owies!)

3. Jake & the Neverland Pirates Shipwreck Beach Treasure Hunt Game

With this game your child will feel like he/she is a part of a Jake episode…

finding matches using the gold doubloons (of which 5 can only be seen using the decoder), hunting for the hidden treasure before the timer runs out and bringing back the loot while balancing the same carefully on the foam sword.

This active game challenges a child’s memory skills and dexterity
