Fun games in our Christmas Gift Guide 2013 {#GiveChristmas 2013}

Since we have a feature up for generous brands that have sent us toys for the Children’s Home, I thought it would be nice to have a dedicated one for brands that have sent us games. God has been opening wonderful doors for the Give Christmas 2013 Event and we love that big corporations haven’t forgotten that giving is what Christmas is all about.

 

As mentioned earlier, even though I did only promise an inclusion in our Christmas Gift Guide 2013, I thought it would be nice to do mini features on each brand that has given us games, just to say thank you to all our Give Christmas sponsors for their generosity.

(Not all will be hosting an additional giveaway, so do check back when the Event goes live to see if your favorite toys will be given away. But what’s important is that they have sent a toy for the children who’re associated with the Home.)

1. Boom Boom Balloon

 

Here’s a fun, fun game. The goal of the game is to see who pops the balloon first and the way this happens is by pressing pre-set rods in the frame holding the inflated balloon. Now the number of rods a person pushes in is determined by the number that rolls out on the dice.

This game is best suited for ages 8 and older but I could definitely see younger kids enjoying this as long as balloons being popped aren’t too scary for them.

2. Hedbanz Act Up!

 

Looking for a game that involves mimes and a whole bunch of laughs? Then this is just what you need for your next Family Game Night!  Hedbanz Act Up! involves each player wearing a headband that holds a card displaying a word that he/she is unaware of. When the colored dice is thrown, a corresponding player has to act out the word on the player’s head and have him/her guess what it is before the timer runs out.

This game is best suited for ages 8 and older.

3. Logo Party

 

How well do you think you know your brands? In this fun family/party game, players take turns in guessing the brand in the spotlight by cracking clues given via art, in description, in mime or finally a slow, gradual, revelation. (Oh and this needs to be done before the timer runs out!)

This game is best suited for ages 8 and older.
