I’m partnering with Russell Brunson on this sponsored post, to participate in a 30-day challenge, to share my thoughts on his latest book- “Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers”, while implementing his time-tested strategies to increase traffic to my blog.
I’ll be honest.
Prior to this, I hadn’t read any of Russell Brunson’s books, nor was familiar with who he is.
If you’re being introduced to Russell Brunson for the first time, you will be intrigued to learn that he is a Best-Selling Author & CEO of the $100 million software company ClickFunnels. He has been instrumental in helping encourage over a million entrepreneurs to succeed, sold hundreds of thousands of copies of his books, and popularized the concept of sales funnels. In 2014, Russell and partner Todd Dickerson launched ClickFunnels, which became the fastest-growing non-venture backed software company in the world.
And now here we are sponging up all that wisdom with his latest book.
Having just finished chapter 13 in the book, I can’t stress this enough- if you are an entrepreneur or own a business, this is one book you should read! (Plus he’s offering free copies of the book, so don’t sit on this! )
Don’t make the biggest mistake thousands of business owners make.
I’m close to halfway through this challenge, and the only pang of regret I have is not having Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook For Filling Your Websites and Funnels with your dream customers, in my hands, when I first started Mommy Snippets.
If you’re a business owner, it’s not enough to have a great product or a unique service, that’s unlike any other. Your amazing product or service is no use if nobody knows it exists. Tens of thousands of businesses realize this too late and have to close several months or even weeks after opening. This book reminds every business owner that one essential skill is needed to not just survive, but thrive, and that’s “the art and science of getting traffic (or people) to find you.”
How do you get traffic to your business?
In church, I’ve always heard it said- “You have a circle around you that only you can reach out to, and impact”, and the same is so true with your business. Your circle is the niche your business is in.
Now you aren’t the only business in that niche ocean, so it all starts with identifying who your competitors are, whose needs they’re catering too, and thereby identifying who your dream customers are.
Not just a handful of dream customers, but your Dream 100.
Once you do this, you will need to find smart, creative, and effective ways to get their attention.
Because they’re the ones who will bring traffic to you, and thereby cause your business to flourish.
Something Russell Brunson said really struck home.
As part of the challenge, I watched an earlier live stream where Russell Brunson said something that really spoke to me. This isn’t verbatim what he said, but to the same effect- “As you find your voice, your people will find you. You cannot find your voice until you start. Yes it will be scary, uncomfortable and failure may be frequent, but don’t stop!”
As business owners, we all have our share of fears and insecurities, but with the right tools, and an unending passion to keep moving forward, and not stopping, we can grow amazingly successful businesses, that are not just incredibly profitable, but make an impact on thousands of lives, and even be life-changing.
Don’t miss out on getting that free copy of Russell Brunson’s Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook For Filling Your Websites and Funnels with your dream customers.
Keep following the conversation on the hashtag #TrafficSecrets.
