Visit IsraelOne of my favorite activities that we did in Israel was making chocolate at Kibbutz Dganya Bet. Galita World of Chocolate is a factory located in the kibbutz, and is a great stop for families.

At Galita World of Chocolate, you can shop their delicious assortment of decorative chocolates — all created by artists at their on-site factory.

The actual chocolates are shipped in from another factory, and the Galita artisans use it to create the beautiful treats you find there.

You can also pay to participate in a chocolate workshop — this is a great activity for families! Each participant gets to decorate their own set of chocolates (depending on the package that you purchase) and take them home.

These are just one of the options that you get to make! How fun are these?!

I decided on a package that let you create a chocolate bar and some truffles.

The truffles were injected with some Nutella chocolate, then frozen and rolled in chocolate and toppings. So yummy!

For the chocolate bar, we used a paintbrush to add designs to the inside of a plastic mold. Then we drizzled in the chocolate and froze it to harden.

I love how they turned out!

I didn’t have room for them in my luggage, so I enjoyed them during our car rides around the Israeli countryside. They were so good. Definitely bring your family and stop in for a workshop.
