At times when God speaks, it’s a still small voice…sometimes even a whisper. And it’s at times like these that He invites us to be still and know that He is God (Psalms 46:10).
Join me as I share with you 31 God Whispers…i.e. 31 Promises from the Word of God that sustain, strengthen and encourage me on my journey to be the Mommy and Wife God wants me to be.

I will bless the LORD…at ALL times ( Day 9)

.

I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

(Psalms 34:1)

.

It’s so easy to thank God when you’re comfortably sitting on a padded lounge chair on top of life’s rose covered hills but it’s such a struggle to say even a few words to Him when you’re going through those rough patches or you’re being battered and tossed around in some crazy storm life’s thrown at you.

.

Impossible as it may seem, the Bible says that even when it seems like there’s just nothing in there to thank and praise God for, we NEED to give Him thanks and praise.

.

When we just moved here and were new to the place, Hubby became fatally ill and was rushed to the hospital. At the time Bunny girl was a little over 18 months old, I didn’t know how to drive, we were miles and miles away from family and a solitary friend of the family drove him to the hospital to get him admitted. I still remember the rush of emotions I felt at the time…I felt inadequately weak, petrified and filled with so much uncertainty.

I couldn’t visit Hubby at the hospital because Bunny girl was going through a clingy phase and refused to let me out of her sight so the only thing I could do was talk to him over the phone. The doctors ran several tests on him and after more than two misdiagnoses it finally dawned on them what needed to be treated.

.

We couldn’t understand why this was happening but in that dire moment of absolute helplessness we knew we needed to lean upon God, trust Him and thank Him for His Word and His Promises..

We CHOSE to bless God in our valley and He heard our cry. Hubby was discharged five days later and since that day, by God’s Grace, has had a clean bill of health.

.

It’s hard to praise God through the storm and when that monstrosity of a problem is glaring you right in the eye but take my word on this that when you take your eyes off the problem and focus on the One who is able to solve ALL problems, you will see that mountain slowly breaking into pieces before your eyes.

Your breakthrough may whoosh in instantaneously, it may be gradual or may take a good long while but don’t lose heart..

Remember, you ARE an overcomer through Christ.

God WILL see you through that problem.

Just thank and praise Him in faith.

..With.

I pray that you will find comfort, encouragement and hope as you lean close to listen to God’s Whisper for your situation today.

Be blessed!
