This printable cotton ball sheep craft is an easy craft for little hands to make with little help. This craft would be a sweet Bible story craft idea and preschool class activity.

My kids have always loved doing crafts, especially in the early preschool stage.

This cotton ball sheep craft was something we put together while looking through our Shepherd on the Search activity kit when it first came in.

Every shepherd needs sheep, right?

Hence a sheep buddy was made to accompany the shepherd on his ‘countdown-to-Christmas’ adventures.

Important!

Allow your child to take the lead. The cotton ball sheep may have more “fleece” on some parts of its body than others, the clothes pegs may not be colored perfectly, but that’s ok!

The way your child makes their cotton ball sheep will look just fine.

You will see it in the pride and joy they have when they show you the finished craft at the end.

Our preschool sheep craft proudly joined the shepherd on his search as we counted down to Christmas.

How to make the Cotton Ball Sheep craft.

1. Start by cutting out the shapes in the sheep template.

2. Have your child color both sides of the clothes pegs using the black crayon.

3. Glue the ears to the sheep’s head and then glue the head to the middle of the sheep’s body.

(Your child may need help positioning and gluing the middle of the sheep’s head to allow the ears and head to lie above the cotton balls when glued on in the next step.)
