Broadway Christmas Wonderland (Wilmington, DE)
Chances are, you’ll almost feel like you’re in New York City when you sit in the audience to watch Broadway Christmas Wonderland. Several shows are scheduled between November 25 and 27. This production will play at The Playhouse on Rodney Square and is a family-friendly show, sure to get everyone in the holiday spirit.
Winter WonderFest (Lewes, DE)
Because the WinterFest runs from November 18 up until January, this is a festive event well worth visiting more than once. Indoor attractions include picture-taking with Santa and craft classes at Santa’s workshop. Outside activities include carnival rides, ice skating and s’mores around the fire pit… just to name a few. B&O’s Magical Holiday Express (Baltimore, MD)
Baltimore is only 53 miles from Newark. Taking a ride on B&O Railroad’s Magical Holiday Express is something your family will remember for weeks to come. There are four theme weeks, throughout the month of December:
• North Pole Adventures (December 3 & 4)
• Winter Royal Adventures (December 10 & 11)
• Frosty Fest with Frosty the Snowman (December 17 & 18)
• Winterfest Wonderland (December 19-31)
