Annual Christmas Open House with Santa and Mrs. Claus (Bristol, CT)
You still have time to make plans to attend this free open house on November 19. The kids will love meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus. There’s going to be refreshments and the opportunity to get pictures taken with the Jolly man himself. While you’re there, you can enter several giveaways and drop off a donation for Toys for Tots.
Frosty the Snowman at the Cabaret Theater (Bridgeport, CT)
Take a quick trip to Bridgeport, to treat the kids to a production of everyone’s favorite talking snowman, Frosty. The Cabaret Theatre is proud to present this original adaption of the timeless tale about friendship and the magic of a Christmas snowfall.
Lantern Light Tours 2016 at Mystic Seaport (Mystic, CT)
Mystic is approximately an hour’s drive from Meridian. This Lantern Light Tour is the perfect destination for a day trip. You’ll be taken back to a coastal New England village of old… 1876 to be exact.
The tour is actually a 70-minute progressive performance, where you’ll travel on foot as you enjoy a variety of Christmas-themed entertainment. It takes place, regardless of weather conditions. That being said, a snowy day would be perfect. Don’t you think? Tours are available on selected dates from November 26 through December 23.
