I am NOT forgotten. (God Whispers-17)

At times when God speaks, it’s a still small voice…sometimes even a whisper. And it’s at times like these that He invites us to be still and know that He is God (Psalms 46:10).

I am NOT forgotten. ( Day 17)

“ Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.
(Isaiah 49:15,16)

Our family has been praying for a specific need for a good long while now. It’s not a “life or death” kind of need nor is it a trifle need. It’s one that’s important to us but it seems, as Bunny girl says, “is taking forever to be answered!”
On the flip side we have seen God answer our prayers for so many other things like the complete healing of a friend’s malignant brain tumor and the blessing of a friend’s womb who’d been trying to have a baby for 4 years but was told it was medically impossible to have this happen. All seemingly impossible needs but God answered and proved not just to us but those who knew these people that God always has the final word on a situation even if tests and reports prove otherwise.
I thank God for His Word that says He does not forget us and that our lives stand continually before Him as a reminder.

It may seem like God has not seen or heard your cry…
but know this that He has.
It’s just taking a little while for your answer to come(or in some cases a good long while).
So as you wait, don’t get disheartened but be encouraged in this, that your Heavenly Father knows your need.
You have NOT been forgotten!
