Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Also prepare a greased 9 inch square cake pan.

In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together (flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon powder, ginger powder, cloves powder)

In a stand mixer, cream together the sugar and butter till fluffy.

Add to this the egg and mix well.

Add the molasses and bananas. Combine well.

Now slowly add the dry mixture to the wet and mix till the batter is consistently mixed. (If you find the batter is too dry, add 1/4-1/2 cup of hot water.)

Pour the prepared batter into your cake pan.

Ina separate bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients to prepare the crumb mixture.

Ensure the mixture looks like crumbled nuggets. Spread the same over the batter.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or till a toothpick when inserted in the cake, comes out clean.
