With warmer weather rolling in as we get to the end of March, it’s clear that Spring in Texas is officially here. (Okay, so we didn’t have a brutal winter but it’s definitely warmer than December)
The long sleeves have been packed away and the kids’ growth spurt pushed me to get new clothes for them.
Anyone who knows me will vouch that I refuse to shop expensive clothes.
Spring fashion for kids at The Children’s Place
The Children’s Place has several affordable, trendy and wearable pieces in their Spring collection. Irrespective of what anyone may say, pink remains in fashion for little girls every Spring.
While going through The Children’s Place site, I found a pink blast, ruffle lace, flare dress that looked simple yet dressy enough to wear to a more formal occasion.
Baby Girl wore hers all Sunday, without any complaints.
I wish I ordered her a size bigger to have it last a little longer in her closet as she seems comfy in the same and who can deny lace can’t go out of style on little girls?
For Little Man I ordered cotton twill, chino pants, a size up, in both navy and black.
To complement both I picked a 100% cotton madras, plaid, short sleeve shirt.
With pastel and block colors intertwining , this couldn’t be a more perfect reflection of a ‘burst of Spring’.
I’m very particular about having the children dress well for church. And with his chino pants and short sleeved dress shirt, Little Man feels like he mimics Dad with his attire…
and he loves that.
