If you live in the state of Illinois or have travel plans that involve Illinois, don’t miss visiting Schaumburg.   • The Legoland Discovery Center Chicago (Children 2 and under can enter without a charge.) This fun attraction houses 3 million LEGO bricks, 9 attractions that includes rides plus a cinema theater and a cafe for visitors.
  • Preschool-aged children and older will enjoy the Medieval Times event. The event begins with a 4 course meal amidst 11th century castle settings and witness Medieval Spain jousts just a few feet away.
  •  135 acres make up the Spring Valley Nature Center. The 1880s living history heritage farm is a treat for all ages as visitors can participate in farming activities in the rural German community setting.
  • The Fire Zone is another fun place especially for kids who’ve dreamt of being a firefighter. This firefighter owned and operated establishment is an interactive center with real firefighters that organize supervised activities for the kids visiting, have them explore fire engines and work on fire safety activity centers.
