Each April, SeaWorld San Antonio chalks up a month filled with activities with their ‘Just For Kids’ event.
2 years ago, they had a line-up of kiddie favorite entertainers. My kids still talk about how cool it was to see the Imagination Movers perform two shows in a row!
This year kids can participate in several kid-centric activities and experiences throughout the park. And no, you do not need to pay anything additional besides your admission into the park.
(The only exception would be for the Sesame Street Breakfast and the Animal Tours, where adults would need to pay for their reservation to enable their child to enjoy the experience for free.)
The fun includes sing-a-longs with Shannon Shea (At various times through the day, you can find Shannon around the gift shop bang opposite the Beluga Stadium),
a live DJ cranking out foot tapping numbers at Shamu’s Party Zone (You can find the dance floor bang in front of the Nautilus Amphitheater), costumed characters, the SeaWorld Express ( Also outside the Nautilus Amphitheater), bubble celebrations around the park and more!
And if you have a Sesame Street fan at home, this is a great month to visit the park.
Besides all the fun you can have at Sesame Street’s Bay of Play area with the Splash Pad, carousel rides and live shows,
your child can have breakfast with Elmo and his friends for FREE, with the purchase of an adult reservation per child, on Friday and/or Saturday, all April.
The Sesame Street Breakfast is hosted at Rosita’s Cafe and offers a buffet styled breakfast that includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, breakfast potatoes, muffins, french toast, cereal, fresh fruit, juices, milk, coffee and tea.
This is one breakfast your young Sesame Street fan won’t forget as Elmo and his friends walk around the Cafe mingling with guests at their tables and posing for pictures, at a relaxed pace.
Honestly, how many times can you say Elmo photo-bombed a photograph you were trying to capture of your husband and toddler?
And not everyone can say they were taught a few ballet positions by Zoe herself
or had the Count try his best to cause a smile to break out on a scared baby’s sweet face.
Yes, the price may seem a little expensive but Pass Members save 20% on their reservations and with your child eating free, it’s an experience any Sesame Street fan will treasure.
And before you head out of the park, don’t forget to catch the Elmo Rocks! show at the Nautilus Amphitheater, before it’s retired for good.
