Lone Star Christmas celebrations at the Gaylord Texan this year

We were invited to the Gaylord Texan to experience the Lone Star Christmas festivities and see, firsthand, what makes ICE the crowd-puller year after year. This year, Raquel C was kind enough to represent Mommy Snippets and share her experience in this travel feature. All opinions on the same are her own and have not been influenced.

My family and I were able to experience ICE and Snow Tubing, and what a fun time!
This year’s ICE theme featured Santa Claus is Coming to Town. 
The entire theme brought me back to my childhood, because no Christmas was complete without watching “Kris Kringle’s” journey to become Santa Claus.
We “put one foot in front of the other” and walked through the 14,000 square foot attraction and was just amazed by the artistry and how true they were to the creation of the characters (even in the 9 degree temperature). 
Thankfully, we had the provided parka jackets to keep us warm.
The placement of the characters were based on the progression of the classic story. I loved how the colors brought the pieces to life.
