{Almost} Wordless Wednesday: A child without education

A child without education-quote

.

While growing up, my mother would always tell me that my education was something nobody could take away from me. And though at the time I moaned at needing to wait till I finished my post-graduate studies to get married to my best friend, I see the wisdom in her words today.

Education is important in our home!

Totally agree, can’t say that I did that but I do tell my children the same thing. Graduate first, get that education before anything else. Happy WW! Love the pic.

I would have to know their definition of “education” before I could completely agree. I have met many people without a “proper” education but they were very wise. I would personally choose the later. The Bible speaks of people “ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth”. So I think we have to be careful about education and make sure it is the right kind.

I definitely agree. There are things my 7 year learns that we come home and read through the Word to show her what His Word says on it. So I definitely agree learning but ensuring it is in line with the Word of God is SO important!!

I couldn’t agree more with you. I tell my daughter, often, “all you have is what you know for sure.” One day, I hope she understands.
