When my husband and I got married we handled the wedding arrangements solo as family was far away at the time. They were present for the wedding but there was so much to be done even months before the big day.
Honestly? …I wouldn’t have it any other way as we were able to pick out, choose and decide on what we, as a couple, loved.
We’re both not big fans of over-the-top, ostentatious, big wedding receptions so we did take extra efforts to stick to simple yet elegant elements all through. (And if you know Indian weddings, you will know how hard that can be!) Our floral table settings weren’t extravagant but beautifully complemented our color theme and the decor in the hall wasn’t glitzy but rich.
An intimate, classy wedding that reflected our individuality from start to finish. (Thank God!)
Earlier last week, I was sent a preview of the new Target Wedding Catalog .
Looking through, I smiled as there’s something in the catalog to cater to every couple’s individuality.
If I had to change any one thing, it would be the incorporation of a wedding registry. Unfortunately wedding registries aren’t exactly common back home so we did end up with a lot of impractical wedding gifts. Both Hubs and I are practical gift people, so 10 photo frames, 15 home decor pieces really don’t help when setting up a new home.
Sigh, if only we had the Target Wedding Registry then!
Who wouldn’t want to get this as a wedding gift…
or even this?
Tell me, which Target Wedding Catalog gift between the two would be a wedding gift you would have loved/ would love to receive at your wedding?
Win it! .
One of my readers will win a 25$ Target Gift Card.
