Most times we spend so much time focusing on what we don’t have to realize that we’re allowing the amazing opportunities and experiences we could have, with what we do have, just slip away.
As Sadie Delany, the much loved African-America educator and civil rights pioneer once said…
Life is too short.
It is up to YOU to make it sweet.
(You may be interested to learn that Sadie published her first book at the age of 103!)
Even as the Nation stands in somber remembrance of those who lost their lives on 9/11, may we remember that tomorrow is never assured. If we truly reflect on all that God has given us, we will recognize how rich we truly are.
Instead of focusing on what we don’t have, may we re-focus and celebrate the numerous blessings we have been given.
Yes, may we live each day to the fullest and at the end of the day go to bed thankful and happy knowing that we put in our best and enjoyed the blessings we do have to the max!
May we never have any regrets.
