An easy 2 ingredient Body Scrub you can make at home

As the weather becomes cooler, we celebrate but remind ourselves that the problem of dry skin can be quite a pain. Here’s one way you can keep your skin well moisturized.

All you need is two easily available ingredients and that’s it.

Easy 2 ingredient Body Scrub

To make this great, all-season, exfoliating Body Scrub, you will need your choice of a good moisturizing lotion and steel-cut or extra thick rolled oats.

Knowing cocoa butter is perfect to naturally heal dry, sensitive skin, I’ve chosen to use Vaseline’s Cocoa Radiant Lotion.

This would make a great teacher’s gift idea or even great to make at MOPS groups or even as little just-because gifts for your friends.

Make your first batch using:

1 cup of Vaseline® Cocoa Radiant Lotion and

4 tablespoons of steel cut oats (preferred) or extra thick cut rolled oats. (I used Bob’s Red Mill extra thick rolled oats)

To get the required exfoliating results you will need to put the oats into a food processor to get it ground to coarse granules.

Once this is done, mix it into the lotion.

You can also increase the ratio to 6 tbsps oats to 1 cup of lotion if you prefer a stronger exfoliating scrub.
